It’s National Travel and Tourism Week! Let’s own this celebration because we can’t allow COVID-19 to seize all the summer fun. The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau is promoting local attractions with their all-new Shreveport-Bossier Comeback campaign, which highlights the tourism industry’s resiliency amid the global pandemic. They’ve launched a bunch of digital activities, and the Balloon Rally made the cut! Have as much virtual fun as you can stand with these four Balloon Rally activities, but remember to look into the sky on June 12-13 during the fifth annual CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally. This year, the festival has converted into a safe overflight of colorful hot air balloons for the Shreveport-Bossier community to enjoy from the comfort of their homes or the seat of their cars, weather permitting.
